The 2023 Toyota Camry has a selling advantage in that it is one of the last vehicles of its sort to have an optional V6 gas engine and all-wheel drive. The Nightshade Edition is the most fascinating of the visible alterations to the 2023 Toyota Camry, but there are a few others. The Nightshade Edition replaces the black 18-inch rims with 19-inch bronze wheels. The Camry is the go-to option if you want a reliable, cheap, dependable, and spacious family car.
Performance
Three different powertrain options are still available for the Toyota Camry. The 2023 Camry comes with a 2.5-liter normally aspirated four-cylinder that generates 203 horsepower in most grades. However, select trims make 206, 205, or 202 hp. This shows that there is a wide variety of 2023 Camry models to choose from, including all-wheel-drive options. All-wheel drive comes standard with the 2.5-liter engine on the SE, XLE, LE, XSE, and Nightshade. The XSE’s configurations come standard with front-wheel drive.
The 301-horsepower 3.5-liter normally turbocharged six-cylinder engine has the power and sound of a V-6. For maximum adaptability, go with the four-cylinder hybrid. The 208 horsepower comes from an electric motor and a 2.5-liter four-cylinder. Compared to the standard four-cylinder engine, the Camry Hybrid is 0.1 seconds faster to 60 mph.
Interior and Features
The Camry’s interior “blends usefulness, exquisite beauty, and flawless fit and finish,” as Toyota puts it. That may sound more like something out of a Lexus or Audi, but we have to give Toyota credit for making a new car that costs less than $30,000 seem this good. The inside of the new Camry can be Macadamia, Black, and Ash.
The Camry XSE has the distinct “sporty” interior color choice of luxurious 2023 Camry XLE seats with a stylish herringbone design. Toyota has not announced any details on the 2019 Camry TRD, so we don’t know whether it will have a unique cabin or not. Every version has a gorgeous touchscreen that can be navigated in various ways. When it comes to sound quality, Toyota’s standard equipment falls short.
Safety
The Toyota Sense 2.5+ package is standard on all 2023 Camrys. This features full-speed dynamic radar cruise control for hybrids, TRDs, and other trims. It also incorporates pedestrian monitoring, road signs help, and adaptive radar cruise control.
Other features include cross-traffic alerts and blind-spot monitoring. The new Camry has ten standard airbags and technology to prompt the driver and passenger to check the backseat.
